Alva Design Brésilienne

ALVA is a furniture and object design studio based in Minas Gerais, founded by siblings Susana Bastos, an artist and stylist, and Marcelo Alvarenga, an architect.

Their work is the result of the encounter between these two complementary visions – architectural and artistic – which go beyond the usual rationality and functionality of design. Through their creations, they explore the unexpected, new uses, and an expressive materiality, giving rise to pieces that are both innovative and sensitive.
