Dating back to 1973, this "Commander" armchair surprises connoisseurs of Brazilian designer Jorge Zalszupin, best known for his creations in rosewood, veneered or thermoformed, such as the "Onda" bench or the "Presendentiel" sofa, Zalszupin breaks with his usual habits with this armchair whose structure is made of black painted and lacquered aluminum, as well as its seat and backrest composed of a fiberglass shell that gives incomparable flexibility and comfort. Thanks to its dynamic line traced by its legs formed in one piece with its armrests, the strong aesthetics of this atypical armchair readily evokes science fiction, the worlds of Blade Runner or Star Wars.
